I began dancing at the age of seven and right then I fell in love with the art. By 16 I was teaching my own classes, and at 18 I was helping one of my teachers create her own company. I had the opportunity to perform in Denver, Scotland, and locally as the company began to grow. After these experiences I still found myself drawn to teaching and followed through with that passion. I take classes of any opportunity, most frequent are African dance and convention classes, to keep learning myself as I share what I learn with my students. This past year has been an exciting one for me. The year started with getting my first house! After which I brought two lovable dogs into my home. I became happily engaged this past fall. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for me personally and with the Impact family I hold so dear.

I have two main passions in life, children and dancing. Teaching at Impact lets me combine them in a way that brings me pure joy. I love watching the kids grow from their first class. I fell in love with the studio the very first day my daughter took classes eight years ago. I’m truly honored to not only be a part of the staff but to be a part of the Impact Family. I am also known as the Impact seamstress so if your costume doesn’t fit right, give me a holler. I am a mother of six and my children are my everything. We live a very crazy busy life but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
